KLYPPR (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is desktop software that captures moments from a livestream through OBS, creates short-form output, and can publish to a creator’s configured destinations at their direction. This policy explains how KLYPPR and klyppr.com handle information.

Website and private-beta information
When you join the private-beta list, we collect your email address, confirmation status and token, signup IP address, and referral information when a referral code or referring visitor is present. We use this information to confirm your request, operate the waitlist, attribute referrals, prevent abuse, and contact you about access.
Waitlist records are stored using Supabase. Resend sends confirmation and administrative notification emails. A cookie named klyppr_ref may store a referral code for up to 30 days so a later signup can be attributed to the referring visitor.
This website does not currently run a third-party audience analytics service. Joining the waitlist does not create an account, start a trial, begin a subscription, or collect payment information.
Application and account information
When account access is provided, KLYPPR may store the account information needed to authenticate you and provide access, such as your email address, credentials, profile information, and application settings. Supabase provides the planned account and authentication infrastructure.
The current public website has no public sign-in, checkout, or billing portal. It does not collect public payment details, subscription records, trial-start dates, or clip-allowance usage. Those systems require separate implementation before paid access opens.
Information that stays on your device
KLYPPR is designed to keep the following application data on your device:
- OAuth access and refresh tokens for supported connected accounts, using operating-system secure credential storage where supported.
- Connected-channel metadata such as channel ID, name, and thumbnail.
- Captured video and audio, finished media, and transcriptions.
- Processing and publishing job history.
KLYPPR does not operate a cloud service that receives or processes your raw video or audio for clip creation. On-device tools perform transcription and rendering.
Google user data and YouTube
If you connect YouTube, KLYPPR requests youtube.upload to publish clips you choose or configure for publishing and youtube.readonly to show the connected channel’s name, ID, and thumbnail. Tokens are stored locally and are not transmitted to KLYPPR servers.
KLYPPR’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.
By using YouTube features, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and can review the Google Privacy Policy. You can disconnect YouTube inside KLYPPR or revoke access through Google Account permissions.
TikTok
If you connect TikTok, KLYPPR requests the access needed to send clips you choose to TikTok for editing, where you finish publishing them, and to display basic connected-account information. KLYPPR does not post directly to TikTok during the beta. Connection tokens are stored locally on your device. You can disconnect inside KLYPPR or through TikTok’s connected-app settings. Other destinations
KLYPPR can create platform-ready vertical files for destinations such as Instagram Reels. This does not mean every destination has an identical connected-account or direct-publishing integration.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We use service providers such as Supabase and Resend to operate the waitlist and related communications. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect legal rights and service security.
Security and retention
We use service-provider access controls for stored website and account data. Local tokens and media rely on your device and operating system security. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.
Waitlist information is retained while we operate the beta and communicate access unless deletion is requested or retention is no longer necessary. Local application data remains until you remove it, disconnect an account, or uninstall KLYPPR, subject to your device’s behavior.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information we hold about you by emailing hello@klyppr.com. You can revoke connected-platform access through KLYPPR or the relevant platform’s settings.
Children and international processing
KLYPPR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as KLYPPR evolves. We will post changes here and update the date above.
