Your privacy

KLYPPR ("we," "us," or "our") is a desktop application that captures gameplay clips from your livestream via OBS and publishes them to your own social media channels, at your direction. This policy explains what information KLYPPR and this website (klyppr.com) collect, how it's used, and how you can control it. Contact us athello@klyppr.com.
Information we collect
KLYPPR's architecture keeps most data on your own device. Here's exactly what exists, and where.
Account data — stored on our servers (via Supabase):
- Your email address
- Authentication credentials
- Basic profile information
- App settings and preferences
This is the only category of data that ever leaves your device.
Data that stays on your device — never transmitted to us:
- OAuth refresh and access tokens for connected accounts (YouTube, TikTok), stored locally using your operating system's secure credential storage where supported (e.g. macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager)
- Connected channel metadata — channel ID, title, and thumbnail
- Recorded video and audio clips
- Transcriptions generated from your clips
- Your publish job history
KLYPPR does not operate servers that receive, store, or process your video content or your social media credentials.
What we don't collect:
- Your viewing history on YouTube, TikTok, or any other platform
- Your contacts
- Analytics on the content of your videos
Google user data (YouTube)
If you connect a YouTube channel, KLYPPR requests the following Google API scopes:
- Upload access (
youtube.upload) — used solely to publish clips that you explicitly choose to publish to your channel. - Read-only channel access (
youtube.readonly) — used only to display which channel is connected (its name, ID, and thumbnail) inside KLYPPR.
Tokens granted through this authorization are stored locally on your device, as described above, and are never transmitted to KLYPPR's servers or any third party.
KLYPPR's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not allow any human to read it.
YouTube API Services
KLYPPR uses YouTube API Services. By using KLYPPR's YouTube features, you agree to be bound by theYouTube Terms of Service. You can also review theGoogle Privacy Policy.
You can revoke KLYPPR's access to your YouTube account at any time in two ways: (1) using the disconnect option inside KLYPPR, which revokes the token with Google and deletes it from your device, or (2) through yourGoogle Account security settings.
Channel metadata and tokens persist locally on your device until you disconnect the channel or uninstall KLYPPR. We retain nothing related to your YouTube data on our servers.
TikTok
If you connect a TikTok account, KLYPPR requests access to publish clips you explicitly choose to publish, and to read basic connected-account information (such as your account name and thumbnail) so KLYPPR can show which account is connected. Tokens for your TikTok connection are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to KLYPPR's servers.
You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time using the disconnect option inside KLYPPR, or by reviewing connected apps in your TikTok account settings. SeeTikTok's Terms of Service andTikTok's Privacy Policy.
Third-party services we rely on
We use Supabase to provide account and authentication infrastructure for KLYPPR — see theSupabase Privacy Policy. Clip processing — including transcription and video rendering — happens locally on your device using on-device tools. We do not send your video or audio content to any cloud AI service for processing.
Data sharing
We don't sell or share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Security
Account data is stored with Supabase's infrastructure and access controls. Tokens and media on your device are protected by your operating system's own security (including secure credential storage where supported). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
Data deletion
You can delete your KLYPPR account at any time, which removes your account data (email, credentials, profile, settings) from Supabase. Data stored locally on your device — connected-account tokens, clips, transcriptions, and job history — is removed by disconnecting individual accounts or uninstalling KLYPPR.
Children's privacy
KLYPPR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
International transfers
Account data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers, including Supabase, operate.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as KLYPPR evolves. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date.
